Miles's Story...
My story: My sister and I were found hungry in my foster's neighborhood. She had been watching my mommy try to take care of us but we were hungry all the time. She started to feed us and then took us in and had us spayed/neutered and vaccinated. I'm the precocious kitty. I love to play with my toys, jump on the jungle kitty gym and scatter the shopping bags around the kitchen floor to my heart's content. I would love to be adopted along with my sister Molly. We love to keep each other company while mom's gone but once she's home we love to cuddle in her lap. Will you please take me and Molly home with you today???
Good with Cats: Yes | Good with Dogs: Unknown | Good with Children: Yes

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miles, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
