My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Snickers is a purebred, male, Landseer puppy who is approximately 15 weeks old as of mid-December. He is a happy, confident, energetic, people-loving Newfie pup who adapts quickly to new situations. He loves toys and carrying them around the house. He is learning quickly to walk on lead and trying hard to learn the house rules at his foster home. He is very inquisitive and interested in everything he sees, so that makes it hard for him to sometimes remember a rule or two. His house training is still a work in progress, but heading in the right direction. His crate is not his favorite thing, but he goes into it if given a dog cookie and is now sleeping all night. He comes running when his named is called.

Snickers and a female Newf puppy about his age were abandoned around the first of December. They just showed up at the home of a kind couple who looked after them and tried every way they knew to find the owner. No one came forth to claim the puppies so HANR was contacted. Snickers will do best in a home that has someone in the home who does not work or who works out of the home. He is a good companion dog who loves belly rubs and cuddling. He loves all kinds of attention and believes any attention is a good thing. He is a pretty guy with a nice coat and pure white markings with no ticking. He has been checked out by a veterinarian and declared healthy. He has received his first round of vaccinations and has been wormed.

Our adoption fee is $250.00. A fenced yard with a minimum height of 4-feet is required for adoption.

If you plan on submitting an application and you are out of our region, once your application is approved we require that you come to our area to meet the dog and foster family. If that goes well you will be able to take your Newfie home with you.
