LANDERS's Story...
LANDERS, 4 Mths Old, 3 brothers arrived with FARR on Friday, 12/30/11. Lawson and Laz are chocolate and White while Landers is black and white. All three have their first 2 shots. They still need to be neutered, but we hope to schedule that soon. Lawson and Laz are in Long Boat key with Ashlee. Landers is in Port Richey with Kerri. The $200 adoption fee helps to cover the first 2 shots, Dewormer, Rabies (if over 16 weeks) and neuter/spay fees as well as any transport/pull fees FARR may have paid to rescue them. You can also check out all of the other foster dogs and puppies that the FARR (Florida All Retriever and Friends Rescue) have currently fostered around the Tampa Bay area by visiting Adopt-A-Pet http://www.adoptapet.com/adoption_rescue/75598.html or Pet Finder http://www.petfinder.com/pet-search?shelter_id=FL466 or Facebook: FARR Florida All Retriever Rescue. Why Adoption is a Great Option

LANDERS, a Largo Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Largo, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Largo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Largo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Largo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Largo paves the way for another one to be saved.
