Gabrielle's Story...
Update:
Gabrielle is a beautiful, young spunky American Pit Bull Terrier. She loves to play with dogs her own size. She is happy-go-lucky, sweet and energetic. She adores people and loves to snuggle with you.
Gabby is house trained, crated trained and working on walking on a leash. She will go to the door when she needs to use the bathroom. She gets along well with dogs and ignores cat. She needs other dogs to play with. Her foster mom thinks she is a sweet pea.

Gabby is a 6-9 month old American Pit Bull Terrier. She came to us from a shelter in Alabama with a bad case of Demodex (non-contagious) mange & a severe flea allergy. She was nearly bald. She is mending well, has begun to grow a beautiful coat, and is adjusting well to home life. She will be spayed prior to adoption, is heartworm negative, and UTD on all vaccines. She is a beautiful girl who is social with cats, dogs, & people. If you're interested in adopting Gabby, please visit rescueabull.org to apply today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gabrielle, a Killen American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Killen, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Killen.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Killen already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Killen breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Killen paves the way for another one to be saved.
