Facts about Pippa

  • Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier Mix
  • Color: Brindle - With White
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Pippa is pretty and feisty, and would love a good home with a fenced area to run and play! See how she soaks up the lovin' in the photo with a volunteer. She has golden eyes and attractive white markings. She was probably born in 2010. Besides regular shots, she's de-wormed, vaccinated for bordatella, heartworm tested and microchipped.
As you may know, the pit was once America's favorite breed. They can be as loving and loyal as any other dog.
Thank you!

To aid in spaying and neutering companion animals–including but not limited to financial assistance for low-income owners.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We show shelter animals on Saturdays from 10:00 to noon, and weekday evenings by appointment. We show foster animals by appointment at an agreed-upon time and place.
Contact us by email or message phone. (Our answering machine is regularly checked. Leave your name, number and short message, speaking slowly & clearly.)

Our Adoption Process...

The process includes a conversation, one-page application, one-page contract, and very reasonable adoption fee.

We do our best to place pets in LOVING, RESPONSIBLE, mutually appropriate homes. Any prospective adopter must meet the animal first. We prefer adopting within "easy driving distance" of Tahlequah OK, but occasionally make an exception. We do not ship animals.

Dogs have shots and broadtail vaccine, and are spayed/neutered, heartworm checked and microchipped!
