Sissy: Schnauzer/Dachsund mix's Story...
My name is Sissy. I am beyond adorable, one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever find. I'm very small---only weigh 10 lbs and I'm 18 months old. I'm a cross between a schnauzer and a wire-haired dachsund---some people call this mix a "Schnoxie." Hate a mess? I DO NOT SHED! I do love to TALK! I'll let you know if there's a stranger at the door, someone walking on the street, or whether a dog is in our yard. Schnauzers and dachsunds are brave, talkative dogs, and so am I. I think I'm a guard dog; I have no idea how small I am. I like to chase cats but they don't like it, so I'm best in a home with no cats. WHAT I NEED: A home with an extremely secure fence for potty breaks. I can get out of fences unless they are really secure. I like male dogs if they are not aggressive. I do NOT like being left alone a long time, so someone who is home a lot would make a great owner for me. I am HILARIOUS, I like to play, so someone who has time to play with me would be awesome. My favorite thing is getting affection/attention--I must sit in your lap, sleep with you, and give you lots of kisses. I'm too small to be around little kids, they scare me (they're the only thing that scares me!). If you are looking for a great lap dog and wonderful companion--look no further, give me a chance! I am fully vetted---I'm spayed, up-to-date on shots, dewormed, and microchipped: my re-homing fee is $150 to cover half that expense. I am located in Alabaster, AL. Email tahoemark@charter.net for an adoption application. FOR MORE PHOTOS OF ME, GO TO www.lastchancedogrescue.com

About Our Rescue Group...
In the deep South, an animal holocaust is underway. Animals are being turned in to shelters in record numbers, and most of them don't even make it to the adoption floor. They have to be euthanized due to lack of space. We pull as many as our resources will allow. We'd pull every single one if we could. We believe animals are precious and deserve the chance to live wonderful lives. PLEASE DONATE TO OUR RESCUE AND HELP US SAVE MORE LIVES!!
