Madison's Story...
Madison is a beautiful, medium sized Pointer Mix and is about a year old. She was rescued from a New York City shelter and is currently living with a foster in Burlington. She's great with kids, but would prefer to be the only pet. She is the perfect family dog! She is active when you want to go for long walks, but is also happy cuddling on the couch. However, she does not like the cold or snow, so would prefer short walks in the winter. She is very calm, quiet, housetrained and well behaved. She is up to date on all shots.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Madison, a Randolph Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer for sale in Randolph, or seeking a Pointer dog from a breeder in Randolph.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Randolph already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Randolph breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer breeders who help with Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Randolph paves the way for another one to be saved.
