We are Courtesy listing Maggie to help find her a home, and this is what her current owner has to say about her, she is one exceptional dog.
Maggie is a hurricane Katrina rescue. I got her 6 years ago this month at the animal shelter in Tallahassee, Fl.-my home of 35 years. She is a kind, gentle, loving dog who likes everyone, esp. children. She is not much of a watch dog as she is so very friendly. Gets along well non-agressive dogs and cats. She is completly house trained, sleeps in the bed with me and is used to getting on furniture. As she is short haired and has no body odor this works out ok. She is very calm and quiet and eager to please humans-she minds well-and is in possession of beautiful manners.
Maggier weighs 58 lbs and is in perfect physical condtion except that her ears must be throughly cleaned with a non RX ear wash every other day to avoid fungal irratation. She loves to play tug ball and frisbee and likes to swim. Outstanding athelte who gets regular exercise and is spayed. She is, of course, heart worm negative.
I would never dream of parting with this fabulous friend if not forced to by my economic situation. PLEASE HELP this wonderful dog find a secure and loving home.
