Norton's Story...
Norton was rescued from the shelter. We don't know what his background is but he is extraordinary. We do think he was abused so he is hesitant and very shy at first but then can't get enough affection! He has been passed over for an entire year because he very special and his time is running out. He is now one years old. We really want to find Norton the perfecthome because we know he is very capable of extreme amounts of affectionate for the right owner. He is a big cuddle bed at bedtime! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Norton, a San Jose American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in San Jose, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in San Jose.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Jose already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Jose breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Jose paves the way for another one to be saved.
