My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Reese is the sweetest and happiest girl on earth. She is a 3 year old chocolate girl who weighs about 60 pounds. Reese found herself in a really bad spot on death row at a nasty kill shelter. She was surrendered by her owners, like most, for no good reason at all. She even followed her owners into the shelter. Lucky for her, Lucky Lab came to her rescue. Reese has a very important role in her foster home. She has adopted Baby Jamine (lab puppy) as her baby. She has taken such good care of her and has shown her how to be a good labbie girl. Reese would be considered medium energy and she loves to take walks and play fetch, but is always up for a good cuddle on the couch. Reese is a big time cuddler at night too. She snuggles up between her foster Mommy and Daddy and doesn't move all night. She walks very well on her leash and also does excellent off leash in the appropriate non-traffic area. She would be a great beach or hiking partner. Reese lives in a foster home with lots of other doggies and does well, but would prefer a doggie brother as she is a little dominant with other females. She also lives with a kitty, but is just a little too curious about them. We feel that Reese would also do well with children. This girl has stolen her foster parent’s hearts and will be missed, but deserves a home of her very own. Her fosters parents just can't say enough good things about this special girl.
Reese is spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and micro-chipped. She is also on flea and tick preventative and heartworm preventative. She is house broken and crate trained. If you would be interested in hearing more about sweet Reese, please indicate her in the notes section of the online application.
