Abraham's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Abraham's Story...

Abraham is a laid back 10-month old Great Dane/Yellow Lab mix. He is very very gentle, does not bark, loves other dogs, kids, people, pays no attention to the cats. He is very food motivated--so he should be very easy to train. Whoever adopts him will have an awesome family member for the rest of his life. He is definitely a gentle giant. So precious and follows you in every room and just lays there till you are done with what you are doing and follows you on to the next.

Though Abraham does well with older children, because of his size he should probably not be around small children.

All dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, current on their vaccinations, heartworm tested if age appropriate; treated for fleas/ticks and urgently awaiting adoption!

The dogs and cats are so very appreciative of your support. Together we can save these forsaken loving 'innocents' who are condemned to death.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abraham, a Palatine Great Dane/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane/Labrador Retriever for sale in Palatine, or seeking a Great Dane/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Palatine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palatine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palatine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Great Dane/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palatine paves the way for another one to be saved.
