Little Katie's Story...
Katie is without a doubt one of the sweetest puppies I have ever rescued. The first time I saw her in the high kill shelter she "talked" to me. She looked me right in the eye and told me she was special. When I picked her up, she kissed my face, tucked her head over my shoulder and clung to me. the only thing moving was her tail and it never stopped wagging. I promised her I would get her out. When her stray hold was up, I picked her up. She has had two sets of puppy shots and worming and will get her third on 1/6. She is about 13 weeks old and weighs about 8 lbs. I think she will be between 20 and 25 when grown. Katie will be a wonderfil, loving addition to any family!
Little Katie is currently in TN awaiting her new home. Her adoption fee of $425 includes transport to Allentown and points north. If you would like to fill out an application, contact lorainecm@comcast.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Little Katie, a Allentown Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Beagle puppy from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
