River's Story...
Meet River! Ain't he a handsome boy! Not only is he handsome, but what a LOVE bug and THE WORLDS BEST SNUGGLER ! He came to us via a breeder in Georgia so he is a pure bred golden. He is a gorgeous coat of silky blond hair and if you rub his belly - he is your best friend for life! River is very sweet, very social with all dogs, male, female big or small. Apparently, he likes to play with his bowl, will hide it and tease you with it like a toy. He is very afraid of loud noises so multiple children in a family might not be his thing. He does however, like for you to whisper in his ear. He is healthy, seemed ok with the vet's cat and loves attention from people. His foster mom thinks he is the best boy in the world! Why Adoption is a Great Option

River, a Foster Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Foster, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Foster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foster paves the way for another one to be saved.
