RACING HOME GREYHOUND ADOPTION
HALLO GOOD ACRE – called “Hailey”
Brindle Female
Born January 22, 2006
Hailey is a pretty alpha little girl. She finished running in August 2011 and waited a long time to get into an adoption program. She has been in a foster home with a small dog and has done pretty well, but she is not cat-safe or bird-safe.
Hailey is housebroken and she uses a dog door. She loves playing with other Greyhounds, both at home and at the dog park.
Hailey thinks she belongs on the furniture – in fact the first picture I saw of her in her foster home, she was standing on the coffee table so her foster daddy could pet her. Hailey is very protective of “her” people.
Hailey ran 51 races and was in the money for 18 of them.

Rescue Group Info...
As a 501(C)(3) all volunteer organization, our mission at FastDogs-FastFriends: Greyhound Adoption is to place these wonderful hounds into safe, loving homes. Whether they are retired directly from a track (some physically and/or emotionally injured), a greyhound placed at Rabies Animal Control or any other facility, or perhaps someone's pet who, for whatever reason, must be surrendered, makes no difference to us. Once they come into the FastDogs family, every dog receives loving care. Their medical needs (including spay/neuter and vaccinations) are tended to, and they remain with us until an appropriate home is found - however long it takes.
