Lucky's Story...
Well, they named me "Lucky" here and since I have a happy disposition, I can understand that! I AM lucky, and Luckier than many of the other kitties I know. We cats have 9 liives, you know....and I'm not even into my middle range yet! I'm a bit on the shy side. I really love people, and it takes me a little bit to comfy up to them, so be patient with me. My life so far hasn't been easy, but I have been blessed and I'm ready to move into a new, loving home with some really great folks who will think I'm "The Cat's Meow"!! Imagine that....me, The Cat's Meow!.... At my age! They call me an 8 yr old Senior here (that's just 8 years and above) but like I said, I am Lucky, and you will be too, if you adopt me! I have lots going for me...I am quiet..I listen well..and I have a heart of gold. So, if any of those things appeal to you, perhaps I will appeal to you and we can both be Lucky! When you see my beautiful coat and lovely face, I know you'll fall in love with me! Let's get Lucky together, huh?!?! By the way, I'm already neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped, so I'm ready to go to my new Lucky owner right now! And, I get a free vet checkup, too!. My adoption fee is just $30. How lucky is that?!?! I'm in kennel #119 in the Cat House. Let's get Lucky together!! :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky, a El Cajon Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
