Scooby's Story...
Scooby is one of the cutest pups you will ever meet. He is 1 year old (born Christmas Day, 2010) and weighs just under 50 pounds. Scooby was born into a situation where he had very little (almost none) socialization during his first months of life. He was taken into rescue about 3 months ago and he has now learning that people are good and can be trusted.......even nice! Scooby loves to play with other dogs and does not have an aggressive bone in his body. Scooby just needs to find those wonderful people who love him for the fabulous dog he is. Those people need to be patient and kind,,,,they need to be willing to spend time with him at the foster home a few times before trying to incooperate him into their home. If you are that special will end up with the BEST family member ever!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scooby, a Bellingham Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
