My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sheena, and her son, came to us via a vet who refused to killed her because the owner, was all done breeding and selling her kittens. So now she was disposable as well as her 11 month old son. To say this 'breeder' was a warm a fuzzy woman is a huge stretch. Her son was never handled and turned feral. Sheena has taken almost 2 years to become the wonderful, beautiful cat that she is today. All the credit goes to the foster home who spent countless hours with her making her feel loved, for the 1st time in her life, and learning to trust people.
Sheena is a bit shy until she gets to know you. She is a very good girl and is hoping you can give her a forever home. She needs a quite home with out little kids just being kids. An older person, couple, with patience and an appreciation for this beautiful cat would be best. They would be able to continue what the foster parents have done to make this cat a wonderful girl again.
Sheena is a drop dead beautiful, long legged, sleek seal point. She is a regal, royal looking cat. She deserved better than she got from this 'breeder'. She's a lucky girl to be alive today as many others would have put her down and not invested 2 years to bring her around. It's been a labor of love!
You may obtain an online application by logging on to CatAdoptionRI.org or by emailing catadoptionteam@aol.com or rfalaguerr@aol.com. All of the cats and kittens are adopted out with Rhode Island State mandated proof of spay or neuter. In order to take your new cat or kitten home with you, there must be an approved application prior to adoption day. Application approval is usually within 24-48 hours.
We, at CATS, are very proud of all of the cats and kittens that we help facilitate finding new forever homes, and work very hard to make sure they are happy, healthy and well socialized. All of the cats and kittens are fed only Royal Canin cat food.
We are at the Providence Petco, located at 585 N. Main Street, Providence, RI every Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm and you are welcome to come by and see all the cats and kittens that are looking for new 'Forever Homes'. Hard copy medical records accompany each cat and kitten on adoption day as each cat or kitten is completely vetted prior to their adoption.
The adoption donation is $150.00 each after an approved application. This is not a sale, but an adoption donation. The policy is that all of our cats and kittens will be adopted out spayed or neutered, tested for feline aids/leukemia, and have all age appropriate shots. There will not be any adoption of any cat or kitten that has not been spayed or neutered first. There will be no exceptions. This means that there is less out of pocket costs for people who adopt a cat or kitten from us and you will be in 100% COMPLIANCE WITH THE SPAY/NEUTER LAW TOO!
