Ollie's Story...
Ollie is a male, Collie mix, 8-10 years old. He was brought in by Pulaski Co. Animal Control, because he was straying from his home in the Star City area. Ollie is not wearing ID tags. Ollie is a very friendly dog. He loves attention and will give you a paw if you talk sweet to him. He is a very lovable dog. Ollie has a cut on his left cheek. We did a little first aid treatment, so in the photos his cheek appears to be wet. Use ID# 4-3-4. If you are interested in any of our homeless pets, please CALL IMMEDIATELY. Due to lack of staff and time to check email, we ask that you call the shelter at 574-896-5060 to insure that contact is made. Our hours are: Mon.-Sat., 10am-4pm central. Please, leave a message on the answering machine if unable to get through to staff. We will return calls, if you leave your name and number. Thank you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ollie, a North Judson Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie for sale in North Judson, or seeking a Collie dog from a breeder in North Judson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Judson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Judson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie breeders who help with Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Judson paves the way for another one to be saved.
