Eli Manning's Info...

I am housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Eli Manning's Story...
Eli Manning is a 2 year old un-neutered male Lab mix who came to the shelter as a stray. Eli is a mild mannered dog who appears to be good with other dogs, but is unknown with cats. This sweet boy knows a few basic commands such as "sit" and "shake". Eli appears to be housetrained. He is a great medium size and will make a wonderful family pet. Eli is quickly becomming the dog of choice between many of the volunteers. He is a fun-loving little guy who loves his belly rubs, and will lay down and rollover if he sees you heading his direction. You will not be dissapointed if you come and spend some time with him at the shelter. He is waiting for his new forever mom/dad to come get him.

If you want to apply for this dog click here.
You can then email the application to the Meridian Animal Shelter.

Applications are now being accepted, and a visitation with the dog is encouraged.
All applications will be considered and the adoption coordinator will call the person chosen to adopt the dog after the available date.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eli Manning, a Meridian Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Meridian, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
