Jake's Story...
Jake is a young Rottweiler who was found broken down, starving, literally laying in the street in Pomona when a kind person stopped to help him. If she had not helped him, he would have been run over by a car. Now, it has been a couple of weeks, and he has put on weight, and has learned that the people taking care of him care about him. So now, it is time to find a forever home for this young dog, estimated to be just under two years.

Jake is living with a cat rescuer who also has a small dog that he is OK with. He is exposed to both tame and feral cats and could care less about the cats walking around him. This dog is such a good boy! If you are interested in Jake, please call Sandy at 818-407-4145 or e-mail Lori at: lori@modernica.net to meet Jake the Rottie who thinks he is a cat!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jake, a Los Angeles Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
