Jethro Bodine's Story...
Jethro Bodine, 12 week old male Maine Coon mix

Jethro is a big, round, fluff ball. He is the spitting image of his mom, Daisy Mae. The friendliness of his mom, has definitely found a place in Jethro Bodine's heart. His main interest is his caretaker. He wants your touch, attention and love. When his foster mom walks into the kitten room, he runs to greet her and jumps up on the dresser by the door. He has to be the first one always, to say hello. His adorable face and bright eyes will attract you like a magnet.

He is a very playful kitten and loves to chase the laser light and balls with bells inside. He can certainly get enough exercise to need a good nap and cuddle with his owner. He will curl up in your lap and purr while you pet him. He enjoys being close to you. He is a wonderful kitten with a very loving nature. You will easily fall in love with this boy!

Jethro will come to you neutered, tested, up-to-date on vaccines and micro-chipped.

If you want more information contact Laurie at (916) 799-7139 or lcocal@sbcglobal.net and please fill in an adoption application. He is fostered in the Sacramento area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jethro Bodine, a Davis Maine Coon kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Davis, or seeking a Maine Coon kitten from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
