Wilbur's Story...
You would be so happy to meet this little guy, kind of an old soul. And believe us when we say, you won't be sorry if you adopt this little bundle of snuggles! His tail wags and he is soooo happy.

Wilbur was being dumped at the shelter by his owners who didn't want to take care of him any longer. We rescued Wilbur and his brother Austin. They are pretty lucky since they didn't have to go into the shelter! We had him neutered and groomed and his teeth cleaned! Wilber is up to date on shots and are bundles of love. Wilbur gets along great with other dogs, but also isn't afraid to let his boundaries be known.

We are Lucky Pup Dog Rescue in San Diego, a California non profit dog rescue. (#3400209) We require a home check, application (that can be downloaded on our website www.luckypupdogrescue.com) and a donation to our rescue -- a minimum of two hundred dollars, this supports our work with rescue dogs. He is wormed and has flea meds on board!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wilbur, a san diego Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in san diego, or seeking a Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in san diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in san diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a san diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in san diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
