My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hershel is the most awesome chocolate lab boy. He is about 1 year old and is average in size, weighing about 65 lbs. He is gorgeous and has that beautiful milk chocolate coat that is also soft and shiny. He appears timid in this picture, but he is very social and sweet. He loves to play with his foster siblings and certainly can give them a run for their money. He exudes happiness and has a very typical lab personality. This boy is young and will need appropriate young lab activity as he would be classified as a medium to high energy boy. However, he is totally manageable and smart and will pick up on household routine quickly. He has been socialized with men, women and older children, but we suspect he would be good with younger children as well. He is good with cats and quite honestly, the kitties were a bit intimidating! He really is a fabulous boy, crate trained, working on house manners, takes treats nicely and eager to please his peoples. He loves to chew on compressed rawhides and can not wait to taste those really nasty, stinky, gross liver treats, the ones that are o'so yummy to the canine species. He does okay on lead, but can definitely use a bit more direction to be a perfect gentlemen. Hershel is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations and is heartworm negative. He is microchipped and kept on frontline and heartgard. If you would like to adopt this wonderful chocolate boy, please complete an online application and request him on the notes section.
