Natalie's Story...
Natalie is not in the Closer to Home Animal Advocates program. We are listing her as a courtesy to her owner and we will help screen applications.

Natalie is a 3-year-old spayed female Siberian Husky. She has to find a new home because the owners also have cats and Natalie is trying to hurt them. This is not uncommon for a Siberian Husky as they have a very high prey drive. Natalie is housetrained, crate trained and very affectionate with people. She just needs to find a new home with no cats, no small dogs and no small children. She would be fine with another large dog as a housemate. She currently lives with a male Golden Retriever. Natalie is a lovely girl!

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out and submit our online application. Vet and personal references will be checked and a home visit is required. Also, a minimum 5' high fenced yard is required to adopt any of our dogs and invisible fences are NOT acceptable.

All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm tested, on heartworm preventative year-round, and microchipped for identification.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Natalie, a Belleville Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Belleville, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Belleville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Belleville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Belleville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Belleville paves the way for another one to be saved.
