Spice is a 6 year old spayed female that was pulled from a shelter. Spice gets along with other submissive dogs but she wants to be the boss. She would do best as the only dog. She is craving attention. Spice would do best with a fenced yard since she is a flight risk and Spice has a lot of energy. Spice is current on her vaccines, she has been heart worm tested and microchipped. Spice's owner must be willing to take her through a basic dog obedience class and provide proof of completion within four months of the adoption. Proof of enrollment in a dog obedience is required before/at the adoption. If you would like to be considered to adopt Spice, you must first apply. Then please contact

Rescue Schnauzers usually weigh between 15-25 pounds, they are up to date on shots, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered prior to placement. We make reasonable efforts to evaluate the health and temperament of each dog, however we cannot make any guarantees. We are not a shelter and do not have a central facility. All dogs are kept in foster homes located throughout the area we cover.
