Daisy's Story...
Brighten your day.

Daisy was abandoned at Paws with her 3 nursing babies and three other cats. Only one of her babies survived and he has already been adopted.

Daisy is about 2 years old. She is spayed, current on all her vaccinations, micro-chipped and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

She is a very sweet cat who loves to receive attention. She's a bit shy at first, but warms up quickly. She's fine being held and cuddled and will amaze you with how loud she can purr. Another really cute thing about Daisy is her little bob-tail and how it wiggles.

Daisy is tolerant of other cats and was fostered with a family with children of all ages. She would make a wonderful addition to your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Norwalk Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
