Brodie & Katie's Story...
Senior Dogs Need a Home

A man named Brendan lost his job and his home and is moving into a room for rent in Bristol next to a day labor place. He was emotional actually crying on the phone he has no place for his 2 dogs Brodie an almost 11 year old pit bull he has had him since 8 weeks old and Katie a boxer hound mix he rescued from Katrina. she is 7years old. He is desperately trying not to bring them to the pound he can't handle that he has exhausted all possibilities and needs some help. They are both friendly Brendan would love to get his dogs back when he gets on his feet but also knows that might not be possible but he can't imagine his life without them. This is a heartbreaking situation. He did not neuter the male the female is spayed. Sadie Mae would be more then willing to pay for him to be neutered if we could work together and find a safe place for them. can you imagine having your dog for 11 years and being in this situation :( Thank you and please spread the word.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brodie & Katie, a Norwalk Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
