Cody's Story...
Labrador Retriever/Border Collie Mix

Cody flew up from North Carolina with a slew of puppies in November. He was a little older and the shelter just included him in the shipment. He turned out to be the most valuable player..Everybody wanted him at the Meet and Greet. He is gentle, loving, passive, non-agressive boy. He loves affection and is great with kids. I don't see cats being a problem. You can get all the information from Cody's foster mother. He's a gem.

Cody is not at PAWS. Please contact Leader of the Rescue Pack - Jennifer at 203 854 9896 or jig21@att.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cody, a Norwalk Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
