Buster Brown's Story...
Oh Buster Brown, how we love thee. He was born in November of 2008 to a purebred Black and Tan mother. I have asked her repeatedly who she "met with" but she refuses to give any tangible details. Buster was adopted as a puppy and was returned to Rescue due to a change in his family's circumstances. Buster looks like a Terrier in a coonhound body. He has a beautiful golden coat, facial whiskers and a mohawk down his back. He loves to go on bicycle rides, he was born for it. He knows sit and stay. When it's meal time he eats slowly and is not aggressive towards his food. He is crate and housetrained, but shouldn't need a crate in his forever home because he is extremely trust worthy. With exercise he enjoys his down time and he entertains himself for hours chasing lizards. He gets long well with loves playing with all dogs, big and small. In good weight at 70 lbs. Buster is being fostered in Florida.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster Brown, a Dallas Black and Tan Coonhound/Airedale Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black and Tan Coonhound/Airedale Terrier for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Black and Tan Coonhound/Airedale Terrier dog from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black and Tan Coonhound/Airedale Terrier breeders who help with Black and Tan Coonhound/Airedale Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
