Bentley's Story...
Bentley is a 1-2 year old Bloodhound who was rescued on his last day and will be fostered in Michigan. His temporary Indiana foster family fell in love at first sight! He is reliably housetrained, goes out when the door is opened, potties and comes back to the door. He knows "sit" and "down." He rides like a gentleman in the car. He very gently takes treats from the hand and is really a gentle giant overall. He loves playing with the Lab in his foster home, too.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bentley, a Dallas Bloodhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bloodhound for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Bloodhound dog from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bloodhound breeders who help with Bloodhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
