Betsy's Story...

Beautiful Betsy was nursing four tiny kittens when she came to ICS. Her timid nature makes her an undemanding companion who will surely blossom with kindness and affection. If you would like to meet Betsy please visit her in the room named Kitty Korner. The room mom for Kitty Korner writes:

Betsy – She is the absolute sweetest cat.   She is easy going, playful and gets along wonderfully with all the other cats in Kitty Korner.   She is so much fun to watch when she plays with the laser.   She will leap against the wall on her hind legs to get at the laser.   She is timid at first but once she gets to know you, she loves to be petted and brushed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Betsy, a Westville Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Westville, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Westville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westville paves the way for another one to be saved.
