Winston's Story...
Born approximately July 2011, Winston is an active, playful, beautifully marked white and brindled dog. He's crate trained, walks easily on a leash, and has learned some basic obedience while in foster care. Winston has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and given heartworm prevention. Adult weight should be in the 45 pound range on a solidly built frame. Winston is a free thinking, confident, friendly, smart dog who would love a home where he could do anything he pleased. Don't we all?! Reality is that he is best suited to an adopter who knows how to be the pack leader in the dog-human relationship. He's highly motivated to please, especially if you're handing out food rewards. If you want a unique looking dog with an outgoing personality, Winston is your man. Email petsavernc@bellsouth.net for an application. Adoption fee is nominal thanks to a generous sponsor.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Winston, a Chapel Hill Bull Terrier/Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bull Terrier/Bull Terrier for sale in Chapel Hill, or seeking a Bull Terrier/Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Chapel Hill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chapel Hill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chapel Hill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bull Terrier/Bull Terrier breeders who help with Bull Terrier/Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chapel Hill paves the way for another one to be saved.
