for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Piper's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Piper's Story...
Piper's adoption fee is $300.

Piper is a very affectionate 7 year old 7 pound neutered Chihuahua that is up to date on shots and micro chipped. Piper missed out on puppy hood and is making up for it now. He loves to run around the house with the other dogs, will chase the cats (in play) and is a very happy boy. When it comes to other animals in the home, he gets along with all. Piper has never been in a situation where he is the only pet, so would probably settle better in a home that has at least one other pet for him to play with.

Piper does not like young children. Their sudden and loud movements frighten him, so he’d be best suited to an adult only household. While Piper does love to run and play with the other dogs, he is just as happy to curl up on the couch with one of his people. Piper's favorite time of day is bed time where he gets to curl up under the blankets in Mom and Dad's big bed. Is this the snuggle bug that you've been searching for?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Piper, a Toronto Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
