Here's what the humans have to say about me:
CC is a sweet, playful, snugly, short and squat, five-year-old, 55-pound, female, pit bull terrier-mix (who looks like an overgrown Boston Terrier) looking for a loving guardian. CC landed at Chicago Animal Care & Control, through no fault of her own, after being confiscated from a convicted felon who was using her for breeding. She has been evaluated by an animal behavioralist and passed her temperament test with flying colors. CC is living in a foster home where she has settled in nicely with the family’s Golden Retriever with whom she loves to play. She is full of kisses and tail wags, and sleeps on a dog bed in her foster folk’s bedroom. She is crate-trained and housebroken when kept on schedule. She enjoys walks, belly rubs, and chewing on her bones. She has no clue what to do with toys, but she loves people of all ages including children. She is very attentive and food-motivated, so she’s been easy to train. She already has learned sit, down, wait, and shake in a short period of time! A lifetime of training comes with her adoption. Also she does great with name recognition and comes running when her foster mom calls her (as long as the distraction is not too great.) CC likes to play with other dogs, but does not do well in a household with cats or other small pets. She is energetic enough to enjoy activities and walks, but calm enough to enjoy snuggling with you on the couch to watch a movie. Please enjoy this adorable movie starring CC in action! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bjkkL2CiEY CC is healthy, spayed, micro-chipped, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm-tested, and fecal-tested. To ask questions or possibly adopt CC, please contact Nicole at denhundsite@gmail.com for an adoption application. CC's adoption fee of $95 benefits the rescued pets of the Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control.
