Stella's Story...
Here is Stella, a Beautiful 2.5 year old Schnoodle! She was rescued from Carson Shelter 8 months ago and for the last 6 months a wonderful friend had Stella flown to her home in Seattle to work with her security and trust issues, after 6 months we determined there was nothing else our friend could do to help Stella and she flew her back to Paw Protectors, she has come a long way in 8 months but Stella is still very selective and only allows certain people to handle her, she is going to need a patient loving family! Stella walks well on a leash, is house trained and knows basic commands.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stella, a Oceanside Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Oceanside, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Oceanside.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oceanside already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oceanside breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oceanside paves the way for another one to be saved.
