Corky's Story...
Corky is a young male Corgi mix. The vet thinks he is between 9 and 12 months old. He weighs 30 pounds and is tri-colored. He is a fantastic little dog. He loves children, dogs, cats, people, food and pretty much everything about life. He is happy, fun, loves to play and very sweet. He appears to be housebroken (no accidents yet). He walks well on a leash and loves to be with people. He is adorable. (TIA)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Corky, a Foster Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi for sale in Foster, or seeking a Corgi dog from a breeder in Foster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi breeders who help with Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foster paves the way for another one to be saved.
