Hudson's Story...
Sweet Hudson was dumped by his owner at a high kill shelter in terrible condition. He had a very bad skin infection that was left untreated for a very long time. No one wanted this sweet little boy and he was scheduled to be euthanized. We saved him and now he is safe. We immediately took him to our vet and started treatment. Over a week later, Hudson is now a new puppy. His infection is almost healed up and he is doing absolutely great. He is about 3 months old, very sweet and smart and loves dogs and cats. He loves to be held and will snuggle on your lap. Please give this sweet boy another chance at life.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hudson, a San Pedro Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in San Pedro, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in San Pedro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Pedro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Pedro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Pedro paves the way for another one to be saved.
