Sara's Story...
Here is my beautiful Sara! Now weighing in at over 8 lbs. She was found starving, nothing but skin, bones and fur. She was friendly from the start. She loves people, and is equally playful. She loves to be cuddled and kissed, but also loves to just be in the same room with you. She doesn't mind her soft furry belly being rubbed, and she loves children (would suggest 6 and older). She does not tear things up, and is very neat with her litter box. I would guess her to be about 2 years old. So, what's the drawback? She does not play well with other kitties. She's not too bad with medium-sized dogs, but should probably be an only pet. Otherwise, she is absolutely wonderful!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sara, a Jenkintown Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Jenkintown, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Jenkintown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jenkintown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jenkintown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jenkintown paves the way for another one to be saved.
