Vivian's Story...
Vivee and her 3 babies were found in a carrier next to the dumpster behind Petsense in Sanford. The babies were about a month old and Vivee was very thin, but friendly. They have been in foster care and two of her kittens have been adopted. Now it is Arthur and Vivee's turn! Vivee is a petite cat who might be just under a year. She will be spayed soon and will be ready for adoption. She is very loving, when she gets a little nervous, she eats (don't we all!) and she purrs whenever people are around-even when she is eating! She deserves better than to be abandoned by a dumpster! She has gotten along with other cats that are in foster care with her. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vivian, a Pinehurst Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Pinehurst, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Pinehurst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pinehurst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pinehurst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pinehurst paves the way for another one to be saved.
