My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Millie. I am a sweet, beautiful girl but I do need a special home and am only available for adoption to experienced dog owners. The volunteers have been working with me lots and I have made huge improvements so maybe some day I will be the perfect dog but I'm not there quite yet. Originally I was pulled by Dane County Humane Society from Milwaukee Area Animal Control facility. Then I was adopted by a couple. But they said I was too scared of fast movements, kids, etc so they didn't want to keep me. I was brought back to Dane County and they asked HEA if they could help me work through my fears. So HEA has spent lots of time working on handling me and making fast movements around me etc to try and help me. I am really getting to love all people so the work we are doing together is working well! I still am scared of kids as they move too fast for me but HEA will continue to work with me while I am here so hopefully I can get over this. Like I said, until I am perfect I should go to a home without young children and to experienced dog people who know not to push a dog to do things they aren't ready for. I would sure the chance to follow my owner around their house and play ball and fetch and all those fun family thiings. Please give me a second chance and love and family.
