Laney's Story...
Laney is a Siamese mix, approximately 5 years old

Laney has had quite the wild ride lately!

She was adopted from the cat rescue and is now back at the rescue. After her original adopters decided they could not keep her, she was given to their uncle where they thought she would be safe and secure. Not so….he apparently couldn’t keep her, so he gave her to someone else. Shortly afterwards she was found outside in someone’s back yard, and is now back in the rescue. WHEW!

Laney is a sweet girl who wants nothing more than to be rubbed and spend time sitting on the couch with her new forever family.

If you are ready to make a commitment to this girl and give her a loving forever home, come see her Saturdays at PetCo in Frederick on route 40.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Laney, a Walkersville Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Walkersville, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Walkersville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walkersville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walkersville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walkersville paves the way for another one to be saved.
