My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Xena is a super sweet 3 year old merle female with natural ears. She is a big fan of laying on the couch and snuggling up close. She loves to look out the window and protect her house. Sometimes she is a little nervous around new people in the house, but she is soon ready for a sniff and a pet. Xena loves to play and snuggle with our one year old dane. She is so full of fun and loves to romp and tug with him, and has been known to throw, run after, and squeak her toys all by herself. Xena is so eager to please. She loves to run and she has very consistent recall, which makes going into the woods or park a breeze. She knows sit, go, and on occasion down. Like any good dane she loves to be close and often sits and looks up with loving eyes or leans just to know you are there. If you keep petting her she will never leave your side. She is a great companion with a wonderful temperament, and knows how to behave appropriately in any situation. Xena would be a wonderful addition to any family without children.
Update 2/4/12 - Xena would do best in a home either with other dogs or with someone home during the day. She is not used to being left alone for long periods of time.
