Sundrop's Story...
My name is Sundrop! I came to HEA when I was just a wee lad of a couple weeks old. I was born on a farm with my brothers and sisters. My mommy was hit by a car and the farmer didn't know what to do with us. After a couple days, he came to the realization that baby kittens can't live on cow's milk a couple times a day so he brought us to HEA. I was put into foster care in hopes that they could keep us alive and they did!!!! Now I am big and strong and cute as can be...actually I am handsome, but cute works too. I love to play play play, and snuggles and lovin's are good too! I am just an awesome, sweet, flexible, totally cool guy! Gotta love me! There is no resisting this cuteness. See ya soon, Sundrop. **Sundrop and her siblings are currently located at Happily Ever After's Green Bay Adoption Center at 2056 Holmgren Way, Green Bay, WI. The Adoption Center is open Monday-Friday from 6-8 PM, and Saturday-Sunday from 11 AM-4 PM

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sundrop, a Marion Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marion, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Marion.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marion already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marion breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marion paves the way for another one to be saved.
