I am a special needs pet.
PRINCE was surrendered to the dog pound in early Dec. 2011 and he spent two weeks there. Finally he was pulled to safety & has been in foster care since Dec 14 2011. When Prince was surrendered to the pound his former owners stated that he was hit by a car about a year before & he has trouble controlling his bladder & bowel movements. Thanks to generous donations Prince was able to be taken to the vet & have the appropriate tests done to determine his issues. Sadly because of the extent of his pelvic injury & not getting the medical help when the incident occured Prince will need to be on medication for the rest of his life to help him control his bodily functions. He will also need occasional checkups at the vets office to make sure the meds are doing what they need to do to help Prince. If you can find it in your heart to help Prince get the medication he needs please donate to his care. He and his foster family will forever be grateful. Donations can be sent via paypal to daybeth5@yahoo.com Please note it is for Prince. THANK YOU!

We are a small 501c3 group of local volunteers and a larger group of online volunteers who rescue dogs from the Carroll County Dog Pound in Carrollton, Ohio. The pound euthanizes weekly, and we usually get the dogs out on the day they are to be put down. We also post to many internet rescue groups during the week to line up places for the dogs to go. Some dogs are rescued from the pound and boarded or fostered until a new home or rescue can be found for them. These are the dogs posted here on this site. They are safe from the pound, but need a new home or rescue. We must find them new homes or rescues so we can continue to save more dogs from the pound. The Carroll County Dog Pound is a small rural pound and always fills up to capacity very quickly which means they must euthanize dogs for space. Please help us help the dogs on to a new life!
Carroll's Angels dogs are located in various foster homes in the Akron/Canton Ohio area and other areas.
Please make an appointment to meet the dog of your choice.
There will be a screening process and an adoption fee to cover pull fees at the pound and foster and vetting expenses. Please make an appointment to visit the dog of your choice.
We save dogs from the Carroll County Dog Pound in Carrollton, Ohio. We try to find these dogs new homes or rescues. Foster homes always needed. We have several local volunteers and have a large nationwide online group which helps in many ways such as donating, posting, and transporting dogs. We can adopt dogs out to many locations in and out of Ohio, since we have access to transport.
