Janis's Story...

Janis is a spayed female, Husky/Hound mix,, DOB 10/30/11.

This puppy is part of a litter that has been living with a family. They have been socialized with kids, cats & other dogs. They are all very sweet and even though they have only been in rescue a short time we are quickly finding out how great they are.

This puppy was yet another “oops” that a family had. A family member moved back home with a dog and the inevitable happened.

This puppy will be at Pet Supplies PLUS in Howell this Saturday 1/21 from 11-3. Pre adopt forms can be filled out on line at http://alwayshopeanimalrescue.org/?page_id=12

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Janis, a Howell Husky/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Howell, or seeking a Husky/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Howell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Howell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Howell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Husky/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Howell paves the way for another one to be saved.
