Hayley's Story...
Meet Hayley - a 3 year old small golden mix, she is the perfect size for any family or location. Hayley was in a shelter since she was a puppy but is now loving life inside her foster home. At first everything was so new to her - she loved to check out her reflection in the dishwasher, fridge and fire-place glass, but now she is settling in and is wondering why a pup would ever live outside! Hayely is shy when first meeting people but warms up easily. She loves playing with other dogs and kids. She is housebroken, crate-trained and walks well on a leash. She has a bark that sounds 10x her size, but she wouldn't hurt a fly. Hayley is looking for a family to love her and give her a great life! To adopt Hayley please email info@forrescue.net for more information and an application today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hayley, a Huntsville Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
