My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATED BIO 2/17/2012: Hi, I am Chevy, a 6 year old 7 1/2 pound
yorkie/shi Tzu mix (I think). I am being fostered in Delray Beach. I
am a very cuddly boy, and I'm happy to sit with you and watch TV or
while you are busy with something else that has you sitting down. As
soon as I see you sit I want to be there too!!! :) I don't care if
there is another dog or if I am the only one in the home. I am
housebroken, and when I get up from resting or playing I will sit and
look at you to take me out. I did use a belly band because when I
first got here to my foster home I did mark but I don't anymore now
that I know the house is mine! I walk on a leash well, but sometimes
I want to go in another direction than you. That's when foster mom
picks me up and puts me in the right direction. My very worst habit
is that I want to chase cars to see what would happen if I catch one.
My foster mom is working on it but I am stubborn.

I eat, sleep and poo just the way I am supposed to. I sleep right
next to FM in her bed. I will argue with another dog if they take my
bones, but my FM can take anything she wants. When I meet new people,
if they do not bend down right away and pat me I will bark at them.
It scares some people who do not know dogspeak but FM is quick to
explain my habit. She loves me and wants me to have a new home where
people will love me and be with me. I love the car rides she takes me
on and I do like other dogs but bark when I meet them. I do not bite
or snap. I do not bark too much, just to let you know I am hungry or
want you to throw a toy. Please consider me for adoption. I promise
you won't be sorry. I was a stray and walk close to buildings or cars
to protect myself. I just had a haircut as you can see and I am so
cute. Everyone that meets me loves me and of course I don't blame
them. I was adopted before but the people could not handle two dogs
even though they wanted to so they had to give me back to FM. She was
happy to have me back because I am an easy dog to take care of.

UPDATED BIO 1/15/2012: Hello again! Chevy is a 7 year old 7.5 lb
little guy. He was initially adopted to a family where it didn't work
out with their dog. Well, he's back with UYR and still "looking for
love" :). He's as sweet as ever and gets along with passive dogs, but
we're thinking maybe he should go to a home where he is the only
little Prince.

Chevy (or Chewy as he is sometimes called) is housetrained to go
outside or on a wee wee pad. He's a good puppy on a leash, and loves
his people. Could he be the little guy you have been waiting for?
