Annie's Info...

Annie's Story...
Annie is an adorable, playful, loyal and loving, 18-month-old, eight-pound, female, Min Pin/Chihuahua-mix looking for a loving guardian.

Little Annie gets along with other dogs and definitely loves her people. She was dropped off at Animal Care and Control in Chicago when her humans could no longer care for her. She is living with other dogs in her foster home and would do best with another dog to play with in her new home.

Annie is timid and takes a little while to warm up to new people. But, when she does, she’s incredibly affectionate, loyal and loving. She has been known to be very playful with cats, and she does enjoy chasing them - so she’d do best with only the most dog-loving of cats.

Annie is housebroken and also trained to use pee pads in the home. She sleeps happily in bed with her foster family and is waiting for a patient dog-lover to take her under their wing to train her, exercise her, and increase her confidence.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annie, a Chicago Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
