Find a pet to adopt
I am already neutered and up to date with shots.
My name is Chi-Chi and I am a male five year old Chihuahua. I am tan and white and only weight 5 pounds. I am small but perky. I can be very shy and timid at times. I like to be held and petted. I am a very sensitive, but apologetic little boy. I prefer to be in somebody’s lap or held a lot. I’m just a little boy and you have to be careful with me. I like older children. If you would be interested in adopting me, Chi-Chi, please contact High Sierra Animal Rescue and ask about me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option
Chi-Chi, a Portola Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Portola, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Portola.
Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portola already know the personality and tendencies

much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portola breeder,
or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for
a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of
You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home.
In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who
help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten
adopted in Portola paves the way for another one to be saved.
