Spooky's Story...
Our Spooky is a beautiful 1 year old girl with the most gorgeous green-amber eyes we’ve ever seen! She is a happy, playful girl, who likes to play tug of war with the coonhounds in her foster home. She sleeps quietly in her crate at night and enjoys taking walks, riding in the car, and snoozing in the sun. She has very good house manners and is relatively quiet. She is interested in the cats, but is a bit scared of them and keeps her distance. Spooky would do well in any type of family setting, and is eager to please! Spooky is currently located in Southern New York.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spooky, a Dallas Black and Tan Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black and Tan Coonhound for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Black and Tan Coonhound dog from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black and Tan Coonhound breeders who help with Black and Tan Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
